Pro-Tow has been towing in the Midlands since 2013. It started as a family operation and it still is one — the people who own it are the people you end up talking to.
What has changed is the footprint. Four yards now cover the area: Lexington, St. Andrews, Irmo and Downtown Columbia. That is not a vanity number. It is the difference between a truck being fifteen minutes away and forty, and when you are standing on the shoulder of I-26 that is the only number that matters.
We run our own trucks out of our own yards, with drivers we trained. That is deliberate. Plenty of outfits taking calls in this area are brokers — they answer the phone, take your details, and sell the job on to whoever is cheapest that hour. You find out who actually turned up when they arrive. We would rather own the whole thing, because then the reputation is ours to keep or lose.

Emergency towing
Flatbed rollback or wheel-lift, dispatched on every call. Light-duty up to 10,000 lbs in-house, heavier sub-contracted through us so one call still covers it.
Roadside assistance
Jump-starts, lockouts, fuel delivery. A good share of calls never need a tow at all.
Accident & heavy recovery
Rollover uprighting, off-road winch-outs, scene cleanup — and submerged vehicle recovery, which most operators in the Midlands will not touch.
Specialty vehicles
Motorcycles, exotics, classics, EVs. Soft straps and proper tie-downs, not a wheel-lift and hope.
Transport
Dealer-to-dealer, auction runs, farm equipment, golf carts, and long-distance interstate moves.
Property & impound
HOA and apartment enforcement, abandoned vehicle removal, secured storage — plus free No Parking signage for the properties we cover.

Fully licensed and insured, and we work with the motor clubs — AAA, Agero, Geico, Allstate, Progressive, Urgently and Honk — so most policies are handled without you chasing anyone.
